Dominic Baldini
Founder and President

Dominic Baldini is the Founder and President of Emerson Equity. Mr. Baldini brings to the firm a unique combination of expertise as an Attorney, Chief Compliance Officer, Financial and Operations Principal, and Investment Advisor possessing FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 27, 53, 55, 63 and 65 Licenses. This allows the firm to efficiently and cost-effectively manage the vital operational functions of the business in-house.

Prior to Emerson Equity, Mr. Baldini co-founded Pacific Coast Securities, a successful San Francisco-based brokerage with over $150 million in total assets under management. From the firm's inception in 2001, Mr. Baldini functioned as its General Securities Principal, Financial Advisor and Chief Compliance Officer, managing all financial, operational, regulatory, licensing and compliance issues.

Mr. Baldini's first brokerage firm, Golden Triangle Securities, was founded in 1998 in Carmel, California. Mr. Baldini recruited a strong team of brokers with $250 million in total assets under management and over 700 clients. In his role as the firm's General Securities Principal and Compliance Officer, he was involved in all aspects of the firm and was responsible for oversight of the firm's broker dealer operation.

Before entering the securities industry, Mr. Baldini practiced law, serving as Corporate Counsel for Bank of Southeast Europe. In this role, he managed international legal issues for the U.S. satellite office of European bank.

From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Baldini was an Associate for David Jay Morgan, Inc., a leading San Mateo-county boutique litigation firm. Mr. Baldini provided general legal counsel for commercial, real estate and personal injury cases. Mr. Baldini began his legal career in 1993 at Continental Savings of America in San Francisco. He managed various legal activities, set corporate and branch policies, reviewed corporate documentation and oversaw loan programs.

As a life-long resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Mr. Baldini received his J.D. degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco and earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from University of San Francisco. He lives in San Mateo with his wife and two children.
