Lance Ichikawa
Vice President, Financial Advisor

As Vice President, Financial Advisor, Lance Ichikawa focuses primarily on portfolio management for his clients. Having worked at top brokerage and wirehouse firms for more than 21 years, he brings to each client relationship a depth of investment management and client service experience. He is based in Emerson Equity's San Mateo offices.

Mr. Ichikawa joined Emerson Equity from Washington Mutual Financial Services, an affiliate of Washington Mutual, where he was a Financial Consultant. Prior to this he was a Private Client Consultant at Charles Schwab. The Private Client offering was developed to give personal attention to Schwab's higher net worth clients through a fee-based structure.

Earlier, he was Vice President, Investments at Piper Jaffray. He began his career in 1985 at Dean Witter Reynolds. Later, when the firm was acquired by Morgan Stanley, he rose to the title of Vice President, Investments. During this time, he was actively engaged in investment management, with a mix of business that was half institutional and half retail.

Mr. Ichikawa earned his B.A. in mathematics from U.C. Berkeley and holds Series 7 and California insurance licenses.
